Travel to Hong Kong

Once you arrive, transportation from the airport to central Hong Kong is efficient, with options like the Airport Express (a 24-minute ride to Central), buses, and taxis. Attendees should arrange their own transportation between the airport and the conference hotel.
Visa
Visitors of all nationalities to Hong Kong must travel with their passport. Depending on your nationality, your passport must be valid for at least one to six months following your stay in the city. Nationals of most countries do not require a visa to enter Hong Kong for tourism and can stay for periods varying from seven to 180 days, depending on nationality.

IMPORTANT: The entry arrangements for Hong Kong are different from those for the Chinese Mainland. You will need a separate visa if you plan on travelling to the Chinese Mainland during this trip. Please consult your local Chinese Embassy on the requirements.

The Hyatt Regency Hong Kong, Sha Tin (Hyatt) is the designated hotel for the WUN AGM 2025. Situated on CUHK campus and adjacent to the University MTR Station, the hotel offers a convenient getaway with lush greenery located steps from busy urban areas.

Local Transportation
Hong Kong has a well-connected public transport system, including the MTR, buses, trams, and ferries. CUHK and the AGM Hotel are conveniently located at University Station on the East Rail Line, which connects to Shenzhen and major city areas like Admiralty.
The Octopus card, Hong Kong’s versatile travel card, can be used on most public transport and even for small purchases at stores. It is available at MTR stations, with a Tourist Octopus offering added convenience for visitors.
